About Us

We started with cedarwood. Before there was a fragrance line, there was the work of distilling essential oils from native Texas plants in the Hill Country. That background is the foundation of everything we make.

Over time, perfume became the natural next step. We fell in love not only with the raw materials we knew so well, but with what happens when they are shaped into a finished fragrance: the lift, the longevity, the way a scent gains depth and dimension on skin. Great fragrance, to us, respects both nature and science.

Puro Tejas came out of that work. These fragrances are rooted in the landscapes of Texas — the plants, the terrain, the way different parts of the state smell at different times of year. Things you recognize if you've spent real time here.

Everything is made in Texas, in small batches, by people who know where the ingredients come from.
